Dr. Miranda-Grajales is fluent in Spanish/English. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in General Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2003. He then studied medicine at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and graduated Magna Cum Laude with the class of 2007. He did an internship in Internal Medicine at the VA Medical Center in San Juan, P.R. from 2007-08. He then moved to Miami, FL and accepted a position as a resident of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2008. He served as Chief Resident from 2010-11 and graduated from PM&R in 2011. He then moved to New York City where he accepted a position as a Pain Management fellow at Beth Israel Medical Center (ACGME accredited fellowship), where he graduated from in 2012. He completed his Life Care Planner Certification through the University of Florida, College of Public Health & Human Professions, Department of Behavioral Science & Community Health. He is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, and Brain Injury Medicine.

Dr. Miranda-Grajales is licensed to practice medicine in Texas, California, New York, and Florida.

He is currently the medical director of Medical Injury Rehabilitation Specialists, in Austin, TX. He specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. He is trained in doing: EMG and nerve conduction study analysis, axial CT scan and MRI assessments, spinal cord stimulator trials/implants, pain pump trial/implants and dose adjustments, baclofen pump trial/implants and dose adjustments, cervical/thoracic/lumbar facet blocks, cervical/thoracic/lumbar epidural steroid injections, cervical/thoracic/lumbar radiofrequency ablations, lumbar sympathetic blocks, stellate ganglion blocks, sacroiliac joint injections, peripheral joint injections, epidural lysis of adhesions.
